Philippines Finish Fourth After Fight Until the Finish in the SSL at the SEA Games Grand Finale 

Chon Buri, December 18 – The Philippines stayed in the fight to the final leg in the Grand Finale of the SSL at the SEA Games in Pattaya. In light breeze, and after a delayed start, they held second around the first mark and stayed locked in close battles with Thailand and Myanmar as the course was changed and the fleet split at the gate. They pushed hard downwind and upwind, but Myanmar edged the podium battle at the finish. Philippines ended fourth in the mixed-team keelboat class at the SEA Games, and will continue competing at the SSL Gold Cup Qualifier from 20 December at Ocean Marina Jomtien, Pattaya.
